Volunteer Mentors Needed

Big Brothers Big Sisters is looking for adult volunteers to spend an hour a week with a child in need. The volunteer will meet the child at their school and spend 30-40 minutes together, either during the lunch hour or an alternate free period.

The Bigs and Littles participate in many activities, including playing games together in the school library, cafeteria or gymnasium. Sometimes, on the playground where they participate in athletic activities.

When a mentor takes time to visit a child at school, it leads to enhanced social skills and academic success.
