Virtual Board of Directors Secretary

Indigo International is a non-profit company dedicated bringing holistic health treatment and education across the globe. We offer treatment through affordable holistic health clinics, accredited training and operate a series of social enterprises that are designed to employ women and men recovering from addiction and/or domestic violence and sexual abuse. We are dedicated to honoring and serving all people through our philosophy of radical inclusion. We welcome adults, teens and children of all races, religions and ages into our community. We believe that holistic health practices and education should be available to everyone regardless of geographic location or income.

We are seeking a secretary for our Board of Directors, you will help to provide organizational support through taking an active role in our virtual board meetings, assisting in organizing meetings, maintaining minutes and communicating with board members. Directors must exercise a strong sense of professionalism and high moral standards, maintaining our mission and code of ethics. All of our meetings are held entirely online, all hours are fulfilled virtually.

Our Board of Directors is dedicated to serving our vision of delivering the highest quality holistic health treatments and training online and growing our network of social enterprises. We are currently seeking a secretary for our Board of Directors who can serve for a 2 year term and commit to 4-5 hours per month of service.

Qualifications: Superior communication, customer service and relationship-building skills, organization and time management skills, attention to detail, tact, discretion and diplomacy.

You should demonstrate the ability to represent Indigo International and our vision. This is a virtual position. All meetings are held online and or/ over the phone. You must have access to an active and reliable high speed internet connection.

Our Board of Directors need to commit to attending 10 annual meetings in a 2 year term. We do not meet in July or December. We meet 10 months out of the year, you will spend about 1 hour in our meeting and another 2 - 3 hours every month (during a time that is best for you) working with a committee. Meetings occur on Monday evenings 6 pm. - 7 pm. PST. You do need to be able to attend all 19 meetings in the 2 year term to qualify for this position.
