Animal Care

Mammals: We are looking for a volunteer who would like to be trained to feed and care for our resident small mammals on Mondays and/or Tuesdays. Work involves feeding, watering, and cleaning the animals' enclosures.

Time required: about 20-30 minutes weekly.

Birds of Prey (18+): We are looking for a volunteer who would like to be trained to feed and care for our resident birds of prey on Tuesdays. Work involves feeding, watering, and cleaning the animals' enclosures. This position is available for adults only. Previous raptor experience prefferred but not required.

Time required: about 45-60 minutes weekly.

Because formal training will be provided by our Animal Care team, we are seeking volunteers who are able to provide us with a long-term commitment.

All volunteers are required to fill out a Volunteer Application. A background check is mandatory for all adults prior to the start of volunteer service.
