Join Spectrum for our annual Trunk or Treat, a festive and sensory-friendly Halloween celebration designed for individuals with autism and their families. This inclusive event provides a safe, welcoming environment where families can enjoy decorated trunks, costumes, games, and treats while celebrating the season together.
Volunteers play an essential role in making Trunk or Treat a fun and successful experience for all participants. Volunteer responsibilities may include helping decorate and host trunks, distributing treats, assisting with activity or game stations, greeting families, directing foot traffic, supporting parking and safety, and helping with event setup and cleanup. Volunteers help ensure the event remains calm, organized, and enjoyable for attendees of all ages and abilities.
This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who enjoy community events, working with families, and supporting inclusive celebrations. No prior experience is required—Spectrum staff will be on-site to provide guidance and support throughout the event.
Volunteers are encouraged to wear festive attire or costumes that are family-friendly and sensory-aware, as well as comfortable shoes suitable for walking and standing.
