Take Flight Club Volunteers Needed- Social Club for Individuals with Autism

Take Flight Club is usually on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 3p-6p (excluding November)at the farm and at various locations in the community. Our Take Flight Club(TFC) is a social club for individuals with autism ages 13 & above. Participants engage in different social activities such as bowling, games at the farm, or eating out at a restaurant. During this time we assist them with having relevant conversations with one another, using correct table manners, trying new foods and experiences, engaging in healthy competition, life skills and socializing. **TFC may occur earlier during the day and possibly on Sundays, depending on the activity. There is a monthly updated signup sent out**This is a time of independence for participants and respite for parents/guardians. We do not permit parents/guardians to volunteer.
