Spring into a new Volunteer Opportunity - Greet Hospice Families at our Samaritan Center in Voorhees

Spring is a great time to try something new. At Samaritan, no special skills are required; just share your heart and enrich your life.

Consider supporting the Samaritan Center at Voorhees Inpatient Center by greeting family members and visitors coming to visit their loved ones, escorting as needed to patient rooms, answering/directing calls, and representing Samaritan.

The Samaritan Center is open 7 days a week. Volunteers typically work one or more 3-hour shifts per week. Shifts: 8-11a, 11a-2p, 2-5p.

We ask that all volunteers bring the following qualities to their work at Samaritan: good communication and listening skills, a nonjudgmental attitude, reliability, flexibility, and compassion.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum Age: 17
• One-year commitment
• Volunteer Orientation and Training
• Some medical requirements including COVID Vaccination and one booster (or physician-signed medical declination)
