We are seeking a detail-oriented volunteer to support our grant research and tracking efforts. This role involves gathering essential information on grant opportunities and entering it into our project management system. You will help us build a strong, organized database that will directly support our fundraising and program growth. (Will providing onboarding and training.)
While this is currently a volunteer position, there is potential for a future stipend or part-time/full-time opportunity based on performance and organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential grant opportunities using a provided framework of guiding questions.
- Identify and capture key grant details such as funder name, grant title, and the correct application or information URL.
- Enter and organize collected information into ClickUp (our project management platform).
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of information so our team can quickly assess opportunities.
- Collaborate with the grant team to strengthen and expand our grant database.
Qualifications:
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing/research.
- Some understanding of grants, funders, or nonprofit development preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Comfortable learning and using online tools such as ClickUp and Gemini (training provided).
- Self-motivated and reliable with good organizational skills.
Commitment:
- Flexible scheduling, approx. 5-10 hours per week. Remote role.
