Join the Visions in Violet Gala Committee

The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation (NPCF), a local nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by all types of cancer, is seeking passionate and community-minded volunteers to join our Visions in Violet Gala Committee for our 2026 annual fundraising gala.

The Visions in Violet Gala will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Rapid City, SD. This inspiring event raises awareness and critical funding for pancreatic cancer education, patient support, advocacy, and community outreach programs.

Volunteer Committee Responsibilities

We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with:

• Procuring donation baskets and silent auction items from local businesses and corporations
• Securing live auction items and unique experiences
• Reaching out to businesses regarding event sponsorship opportunities
• Building relationships with community partners and supporters
• Assisting with donor follow-up, thank-you communications, and event preparation
• Helping promote community involvement in the gala

Ideal Volunteers

We are seeking individuals who:

• Enjoy networking and community engagement
• Are comfortable communicating with businesses and community leaders
• Have fundraising, sales, marketing, or event experience (helpful but not required)
• Are passionate about supporting cancer patients and families
• Want to make a meaningful impact in the local community
