Hops and Props 2027 Veterans Recognition and Craft Beer Festival

Fort Worth Aviation Museum is hosting Hops and Props 2027, our 12th Annual Veterans Recognition and Craft Beer Festival fundraiser, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, April 24, 2027, and we hope you will participate!

We'll have local craft brewers, veterans’ support organizations, military re-enactors, aircraft rides, and beer flights, on which craft brewers serve beer on board the actual flight. Flights will be on World War II era vintage aircraft.

Once again, we’ll have live music, our popular family area, family-friendly vendors, and this year we’ll have expanded food choices. The event will be held outside and set up in small tents or canopies around our 40+ stationary aircraft. Along with the craft brewers, vendors, music, and food, people come from all over to see our aircraft up close! We anticipate 2,000+ visitors at Hops and Props 2027!

Fort Worth Aviation Museum needs volunteers to staff the concession stand, the outdoor PX (Merch), the VIP tent, the parking lot, and the Admissions Gate. We also need volunteers to help set up in the morning, monitor and help on the ramp during the day, and help clean up and stow equipment at the end of the day.

Volunteers will receive a Hops and Props STAFF t-shirt and a beer tasting ticket discount - full day volunteers will receive free lunch.

We will have two all-hands info meetings, in advance of Hops and Props day - dates are TBD. Additional training will be provided for some volunteer positions. Please let me know when you are able to attend. Thank you.

It's a busy, fun-filled day, and we'd welcome your participation! Shifts are somewhat flexible, but our greatest need is during the afternoon.

2 shifts available:

• This Shift is for set up of canopies, tables, work stations, hand-wash stations, etc. Help needed at the ticket booth. Times can be somewhat flexible.: Saturday April 24, 2027 - 08:00 to 13:30 CST
• Help needed at the ticket booth, deliveries and replenishment of supplies, and materials. Take down begins at 5:00pm. Shift times can be flexible.: Saturday April 24,2027 - 12:00 to 17:30 CST
