Volunteer Role: Companion Volunteer
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate volunteer to provide companionship for an older adult who enjoys social interaction and meaningful conversation.
This participant enjoys discussing cars, listening to country music, watching television, and connecting with others through conversation. A volunteer who is personable, patient, and enjoys building relationships would be a great fit.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Visiting and engaging in friendly conversation
- Sharing interests related to cars, music, and everyday life
- Providing social interaction and companionship
- Supporting emotional well-being through regular visits
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Friendly, dependable, and compassionate
- Comfortable engaging with older adults experiencing memory changes
- Able to commit to regular in-person visits
- Complete Providence volunteer onboarding requirements
