Hospice Companionship Volunteer-Bring a Smile to a Hospice Patient

Volunteering for hospice serves families and their loved ones when they need it most! You can bring love and companionship to hospice patients and their family members through your volunteering! Our volunteers contribute to a positive end of life experience by visiting patients in their private residences or living facilities and engaging in activities that build meaningful relationships. Volunteers are free to visit patients during the times and dates that work best with their schedules, and often do an activity such as read a book, sing, tell stories or play games with patients. Volunteers might also help with light house or yard work if needed.
