Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and community-minded Outreach Coordinator to help expand our reach and build meaningful partnerships. In this volunteer role, you will serve as a vital connector between Children Striving Together and the broader community. You'll identify and nurture new partnership opportunities, coordinate our presence at community events, and help mobilize our ambassadors to represent the organization across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Engagement: Build relationships with local organizations, schools, businesses, and community groups to identify collaboration opportunities.
- Partnership Development: Assist in creating, maintaining, and growing partnerships that align with our mission and support our youth programs.
- Event Coordination: Organize CST's involvement in community events, resource fairs, and tabling opportunities by coordinating volunteers and ambassadors.
- Ambassador Deployment: Work with CST’s Ambassador Program to identify volunteers to represent us at outreach events, ensuring they're equipped with materials and messaging.
- Outreach Strategy: Help develop and implement outreach strategies that enhance CST’s visibility and impact in the community.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align outreach efforts with marketing, mentorship, and youth programming goals.
- Follow-Up & Reporting: Maintain contact with partners, track outreach activities, and report on outcomes to measure growth and impact.
Qualifications
- People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Organized & Proactive: Able to manage multiple outreach efforts, follow up consistently, and take initiative in community-building.
- Experience: Background in community outreach, partnership development, or nonprofit engagement is a plus but not required.
- Communication: Comfortable speaking publicly and representing CST in professional and community settings.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative mindset and willingness to support others in the organization’s mission.
- Passion for Purpose: A deep commitment to youth empowerment and community service.
