### Position Overview

The Social Media & Content Coordinator Volunteer will support Autism Today's digital presence by helping plan, organize, and publish engaging content across our social media platforms.

This role is ideal for someone interested in social media marketing, content creation, and digital communications while gaining hands-on experience in a mission-driven nonprofit. Volunteers will work closely with the Marketing team to help grow Autism Today's online community and increase awareness of our programs and initiatives.

### Key Responsibilities

**Social Media Management**

• Assist with planning and maintaining social media content calendars
• Write engaging captions and copy for social media posts
• Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms
• Coordinate with designers and content creators to ensure posts are ready for publication
• Help monitor engagement, comments, and community interactions
• Support ongoing marketing campaigns and awareness initiatives

**Content Coordination**

• Help organize and manage digital content for upcoming campaigns
• Ensure content follows Autism Today's branding and messaging
• Assist with brainstorming new content ideas and social media initiatives

**Team Collaboration**

• Work closely with the Marketing and Social Media teams
• Participate in team meetings and content planning discussions
• Support special projects and promotional campaigns as needed

### Qualifications

• Interest in social media, digital marketing, or content creation
• Familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
• Basic experience with Canva or similar design tools is an asset
• Strong written communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a volunteer team
