General Volunteer Coordinator

Kitty Revolution is a nonprofit, all volunteer, all foster based cat rescue in the Twin Cities. We are seeking a General Volunteer Coordinator.

• General Volunteer Coordinator is in charge of all regular volunteers and overall volunteer events.
  • Screens new volunteer applicants that are not fosters.
  • Does regular check-ins, especially with new volunteers.
  • Adds/removes volunteers from the FB volunteer group and volunteer distro lists as needed.
  • Sends policy forms and confirms acknowledgement.
  • Conducts training and confirms all new general volunteers have gone through training.
  • Keeps detailed notes about volunteers. Any concerns, red flags. Do they attend events and how often? What types of volunteering do they like/dislike, what are they good at.
  • Volunteer appreciation event planning. Plans and organizes volunteer parties. In charge of RSVPs, follow ups, etc.
  • Makes sure all events can be staffed. Works with the event team to ensure we can realistically cover all the events we want to do.
  • Helps with volunteer retention.
  • Monthly volunteer recognition.
