Come and join our Shadow Hills Riding Club ranch family!
While horse knowledge and experience is very helpful, volunteers do not need any prior equine assistance to get started with us.

Ways you can get involved at SHRC include:
We have two areas in our program, one that focuses on our Farm Friends (goats, llama, pig, tortoise, sheep, chickens, mini donkeys, mini horses etc.) and the other end that works primarily with our horses and equine program.
Prior to officially starting with us we ask all new volunteers to attend:
1: Orientation - to learn more about our program ( Register for Orientation Here)
2: Horsemanship and/or Farm Friends Training so that you can learn how to care for our horses and/or barnyard animals ( Register for Equine Training Here)
Please note that volunteers under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times while training and volunteering with cats/Farm Friends.
Here are the online volunteer forms you can complete.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I might be able to answer or feel free to learn more about our program on our website!
I look forward to meeting you at the ranch sometime soon!
Warmly,
Heather
