Companionship for Hospice Patients in the last chapter of their life to bring value and show them their life matters!

Harbor Hospice has opportunities to assist with patient calls weekly to ensure they have needed supplies before the weekend and periodically office assistance, but primarily volunteers sit with patients for companionship at their home, a personal care home, or an assisted living facility.

Volunteers are matched with patients after pre-screening patients for a good fit. Volunteers visit patients once each week at a mutually agreeable time. Weekends or evening visits okay too!

We work with your flexible schedule! Companionship to those in their last chapter of life is rewarding to both the patient and the volunteer. It shows the patient their life matters!
