Calling All Musicians! Volunteer to Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

VITAS Healthcare® is looking for musicians who are able to devote some time to playing or singing for

hospice patients living at home, in the hospital or in long term care facilities.

Sometimes what a hospice patient needs most is a way to express feelings without talking. By playing or

singing favorite songs or hymns, VITAS music volunteers help patients and families reconnect with

feelings and memories that can bring about a sense of peace and happiness.

VITAS provides training on how to work with people at the end of life. The musician provides talent,

compassion and time. Assignments are made according to the volunteer's time and location.

This is a great opportunity for you to give back to the community. By taking time out of your busy week

you can make the biggest difference in another's life.

VITAS takes pride in its volunteers, and we welcome you to become part of our team. There are many

locations throughout the city name area you can choose from. Your commitment is completely up to you,

whether you spend one day a week or one day a month. Your time is always appreciated.

Make a difference. Volunteer today. For more information about VITAS visit VITAS.com or contact Maria Vieyra at (714) 734-2706 or maria.vieyra@vitas.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
