Be part of one of Central Iowa’s most beloved community events—the YWRC Book Sale, presented by Iowa’s Biggest Book Sale and benefiting the Young Women’s Resource Center!

🗓 May 21–25, 2026

📍 Iowa State Fairgrounds – 4-H Exhibits Building

We need hundreds of volunteers to help make this incredible event possible! Whether you can give a few hours or multiple shifts, your time directly supports programs that empower local girls and young women.

✨ Volunteer Roles Include:

• 📦 Set-Up / Unboxing: Help unpack and organize thousands of books before the sale
• 💳 Checkout: Assist customers, handle purchases, and bag items
• 🔄 Restocking: Keep tables full and organized during the sale
• 🙌 Floater: Jump in wherever help is needed most

No experience needed—just a willingness to help!

💡 Good to Know:

• Volunteers must be 16+ years old
• Flexible shifts available before, during, and after the sale
• Great opportunity for individuals, families, and groups
