Military Broadcast Radio and the Into the Weeds Podcast are looking for motivated students to assist with hands-on projects that make an impact. We train veterans in podcasting and media production, and we’re expanding our team to include research and content assistants.

What you’ll learn and do:

Podcast production basics (recording, editing, publishing)

Research and information gathering (fact-checking, compiling resources, organizing interview materials)

Real-world experience working with a national veterans’ media nonprofit

Opportunities to have your work credited on-air or in published materials

This is perfect for students studying:

Communications, Journalism, Media Arts, or Broadcasting

Sociology, Psychology, or Criminal Justice

Public Relations or Nonprofit Management

Time commitment:

Flexible — even a few hours a week makes a difference. We can work with your college to ensure it counts for volunteer or internship credit.
