Patient and Family Visits:

Patient and family visits offer a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact. Each visit, typically lasting 45 minutes or more, is uniquely tailored to the patient’s needs and preferences, creating deeply meaningful connections.

Whether sharing stories, enjoying light activities, lending a listening ear, or simply offering the comfort of your presence, these moments provide much-needed companionship and relief.

Volunteers play a vital role in helping patients and their families feel valued, supported, and less alone during life’s most challenging times. Your time can truly brighten someone’s day and make a difference in their journey.

• Provide emotional support: Spend time with patients, offering companionship and a comforting presence. Listen to their stories, engage in conversations, and share in meaningful activities.
• Support families: offer a shoulder to lean on for family members, helping them navigate their emotions and providing a source of strength and reassurance.
• Assist with activities: Help patients engage in light activities that bring joy and relaxation, such as reading, playing games, or enjoying music.
• Practical assistance: Assist with non-medical tasks, such as light housekeeping, running errands, or preparing simple meals to ease the burden on families
• Respect and Dignity: Uphold the dignity and privacy of patients and families, respecting their wishes and ensuring a compassionate and respectful environment
