The Donovan’s Venom is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on curating universal accessibility to fine arts and music education for all. We are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to join our dynamic team. This key leadership role will focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our organization by supporting the CEO, managing cross-functional initiatives, and driving strategic projects. As Chief of Staff, you will oversee internal operations, optimize team schedules, and play a vital role in maintaining the health of the organization, from staffing and morale to strategic planning.

What you’ll do:

• Executive Support: Manage the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and prioritize engagements to align with organizational goals.
• Team Coordination: Oversee team schedules, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across projects and departments.
• Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of organizational strategies to drive mission impact.
• Organizational Health: Monitor team morale, staffing levels, and internal processes to ensure a positive work environment.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CEO, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to inform decision-making, including budget management and performance improvement initiatives.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion, maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of the role

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably with project management and team oversight.
• Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, driving strategic initiatives, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in nonprofit management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of project management and operational best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically while managing multiple priorities.
• Passion for the mission of The Donovan’s Venom and a commitment to community service.
