The Heart in Motion (HIM) Internship Program is an excellent opportunity for teens to cultivate leadership, organizational, and professional skills while contributing to the organization's growth. Below is an overview of the program's features and requirements:

Program Highlights

Purpose:

• Develop leadership and management skills
• Prepare for leadership roles within HIM, such as officer positions.
• Contribute to HIM's Events, Internship, Membership, and Outreach departments.

Training:

• 95% online via Discord with essential evening availability.
• Guidance from the Internship Crew (Program Director, Program Managers and Coordinators).

Orientation:

• Attendance at the Internship Orientation, held at the start of the program via Zoom, is mandatory.

• Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, Dropbox, Wix, and Microsoft Office.

• Daily Online Activity: Be available on Discord and engage with HIM groups.

• Organizational Duties: Maintain professionalism and demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.

Requirements

• Obtain an official HIM lanyard/name badge.
• Attend the Internship Orientation via Zoom.
• Display personal traits such as initiative, commitment, and organizational skills.
