- Virtual Facilitation: Co-host one monthly virtual workshop on essential transition topics such as LinkedIn optimization or interview preparation.
- Hero Connection: Provide personalized follow-up resources and brief email support to ensure mentees are successfully navigating VPMMA tools.
- Strategic Tracking: Log session outcomes in our CRM (Flowlu) and participate in a monthly sync with the Director of Career Services to evaluate program impact.

- The Expert: You have a background in career coaching, HR, or project management and a strong grasp of the civilian job market.
- The Translator: You can identify the leadership and organizational skills inherent in military service and map them to industry-standard project management roles.
- The Digital Professional: You are comfortable with Google Workspace, Flowlu, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Teams.
- The Empathetic Leader: You possess a deep desire to support the military community with respect and dignity.
The Rewards of Service
Volunteering with VPMMA is a mutually beneficial journey of professional and personal growth:
- Professional Development: Enhance your coaching and facilitation skills while gaining access to Google Certificates on Coursera.
- Strategic Networking: Connect with a diverse community of like-minded professionals and industry leaders.
- Recognition: Become eligible for Volunteer of the Month/Year awards and receive professional letters of recommendation for your service.
- Meaningful Legacy: Directly contribute to the success of veterans, service members, and spouses as they build brighter futures.
