Become a Lunch Champion (Saturdays and/or Sundays 12-1pm)

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in your community? We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help serve delicious dinners to our clients!

Open Shifts:

Saturdays and/or Sundays 12-1pm *pick 1 shift/week minimum

Location:

On campus, 770 Centre Street, Newton, MA

What you'll do:

• Help distribute pre-cooked/pre-heated meals to clients
• Engage with clients, share smiles, and create a friendly atmosphere.
• Help clients if they need additional meal items (ex. utensils, condiments etc.)

Supervisor: Resident Assistant on duty.

Volunteer Process:

• Meet with the Volunteer Coordinator on a video call. If the role is a good fit...
• Complete volunteer onboarding: background check, Volunteer Manual, virtual training (blindness education, policies etc.)
• Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to confirm a start date.
• On first day, complete in-person orientation with your supervisor.
