Our hospice volunteers visit our patients each week to provide companionship and comfort. These visits can include something as simple as conversation or more detailed visits that include music and art projects.
Our hospice patients look forward to visits from our volunteers and enjoy developing friendships with them. Just an hour a week can greatly increase the quality of life of our patients.

After application and initial interview, a background check will be conducted in compliance with company policy. We also require a TB test prior to hiring for this position due to volunteer interaction with terminally ill patients. Bristol covers the cost of both the background check and TB test.
