Calling for Pet Therapists!

Abbey Hospice is looking for caring individuals who are willing to visit with patients in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilites, and in patients' homes.

Pet therapy is a wonderful way to bring joy to patients and families! Often patients in facilities no longer have access to their pets, and having a regular visit by a pet therapist can been a highlight of their week!

As a hospice volunteer you will make a difference in people's lives, while heightening you own sense of values and helping you focus on those things that matter most in life.

There is no set amount of time to volunteer. It''s on your schedule, whenever you're available. Please consider donating as little as an hour a week to help someone in their time of need.
