USS Midway Museum Airwing/Aircraft Restoration

Job Description:

Assist in maintaining and potentially restoring historic aircraft, from WWII through Vietnam War era, including corrosion control and repair.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be familiar with the safe usage of Power and hand tools.
• Requires the ability to climb on stands, ladders and aircraft
• Willingness to do menial work – wash airframes, tire maintenance, clean canopies
• Problem solving skills
• Prior airframe & corrosion control work is a plus

Commitment: A commitment of at least 10 hours per month is necessary.

Work hours are: 7:00 A.M. -NOON on any day but Monday
