Polycreek is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending online child abuse through technology, advocacy, and collaboration. We develop AI tools that detect and report harmful online content to authorities, to make the internet safer for children worldwide.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Board Member with expertise in law, compliance, and nonprofit governance to provide strategic legal guidance and ensure that Polycreek operates ethically, legally, and effectively. This role is key to maintaining organizational integrity, navigating regulatory requirements, and supporting the board in policy and governance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise the board on legal and regulatory compliance, risk management, and nonprofit governance best practices.
• Review and guide organizational policies, contracts, and partnerships.
• Support ethical decision-making in technology development, privacy, and child protection initiatives.
• Collaborate with fellow board members to strengthen governance, transparency, and organizational sustainability.

Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed attorney or legal professional with experience in nonprofit, corporate, or technology law.
• Familiarity with 501(c)(3) regulations, nonprofit governance, and risk management.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication and advisory skills.
• Passion for Polycreek’s mission of protecting children online.
