We believe lasting animal welfare doesn’t come from reacting to suffering, it comes from preventing it.

SNPT operates high-volume, humane sterilization campaigns in regions overwhelmed by free-roaming animals and limited veterinary infrastructure. By combining sterilization and community education, we tackle the root causes of overpopulation and build sustainable, local solutions.

SNPT is entering a key growth phase with passionate donors, global partnerships, and major expansion plans. We are seeking one exceptional lawyer to join our Board of Directors and help guide that growth with clarity, ethics, and strong governance.

The Role: Board Member

We’re seeking a mission-driven attorney who wants to bring their expertise to a high-impact, globally focused nonprofit.

You do not need nonprofit or international experience (though both are welcome).

You do need good judgment, a strategic mindset, and a heart for humane, preventive solutions.

Relevant Areas Might Include:

• Corporate or transactional law
• Nonprofit law
• International/cross-border law (bonus, not required)
• Risk management
• Contracts & agreements
• Governance & compliance
• General counsel-style advisory experience

What You’ll Do

• Provide legal perspective as SNPT expands internationally
• Strengthen governance, compliance, and policy frameworks
• Advise on contracts, risk, ethical considerations, and partnerships
• Support decision-making that ensures responsible, sustainable growth
• Attend quarterly board meetings + occasional strategic conversations
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership
