Thursday Food Pantry Volunteer – Distribution, Setup and Cleanup

New Life Food Pantry is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented volunteer to join our Thursday team from approximately 11:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Our Thursday food distribution runs from 11:45 AM–2:00 PM. This volunteer would help prepare the pantry before distribution, assist our guests and volunteer team during distribution, and then stay afterward to help clean, organize, and reset the pantry.

We are especially looking for someone who is extremely thorough and attentive to detail—the kind of person who notices when something is out of place, takes pride in keeping a space clean and orderly, and doesn’t consider the job finished until everything is properly put away and ready for the next day.

Responsibilities may include:

• Helping set up food and supplies before distribution
• Assisting guests and volunteers during pantry hours
• Restocking and organizing shelves and work areas
• Wiping down tables, counters, carts, and other surfaces
• Sweeping and general cleanup
• Returning supplies to their proper places and leaving the pantry neat and organized

This would be a wonderful role for someone who enjoys helping people but also finds satisfaction in creating order, keeping things organized, and making sure all the little details are taken care of.

Schedule: Thursdays, approximately 11:00 AM–2:30 PM
