Every day, homeless cats and kittens face hunger, disease,
injury, and the challenge of surviving outdoors. You can be part of a
compassionate, proven solution that changes lives.
At Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals (NCFF), our monthly spay/neuter clinics provide homeless cats and kittens with life-saving care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and treatment for medical conditions. Except for our skilled veterinarians, our clinics are staffed entirely by our incredible volunteers.
No Veterinary Experience? No Problem!
Whether you're experienced in animal care or have never volunteered at a clinic before, we have a place for you. We provide the training and support you need, so you can jump in with confidence and make an immediate difference.
Our volunteers are the very heart of each of our clinics. Together, we improve the lives of thousands of cats while helping reduce overpopulation in a humane and effective way. It's rewarding, meaningful work—and a wonderful opportunity to meet compassionate people who share your love of animals.

The Difference You'll Make ~
Since our founding, NCFF has spayed, neutered, and vaccinated nearly 17,000 homeless cats and kittens throughout Northern Colorado and surrounding communities. Every clinic helps prevent countless unwanted litters, reduces suffering, improves public health, and keeps more cats from entering overcrowded shelters.
Every cat we care for receives the same high-quality medical treatment you would want for your beloved family pet. We believe every animal deserves compassion, dignity, and excellent veterinary care—regardless of where they were born.
JOIN OUR TEAM!
We have both clinical (hands-on) and non-clinical (no direct animal handling) volunteer opportunities available. Veterinary experience is helpful but never required—we'll teach you everything you need to know!
If you've been looking for a meaningful way to help animals, we'd love to welcome you to our volunteer family.
