Time Commitment: Approximately 2–4 hours per week
About The Campbell House
The Campbell House empowers girls and young women through mentorship, leadership development, educational support, and community engagement. Our goal is to help young people build confidence, strengthen life skills, and discover their potential in a safe and supportive environment.
Volunteer Opportunity
The Campbell House is seeking caring, committed adult volunteers to serve as mentors for girls and young women participating in our programs. Mentors play a vital role in providing encouragement, guidance, and positive role modeling while helping participants navigate personal, educational, and career goals.
Responsibilities
- Build positive and supportive relationships with youth participants
- Attend mentoring sessions and program activities as available
- Encourage personal growth, leadership, and self-confidence
- Share educational, career, and life experiences
- Support youth in setting and achieving goals
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and follow program guidelines
Ideal Volunteer
- At least 21 years of age
- Passion for supporting and empowering young people
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Willing to complete a background check and mentor training
No prior mentoring experience is required. We welcome professionals, college students, retirees, community leaders, and individuals from all backgrounds who are committed to making a positive difference in a young person's life.
