Arlington Commission for Arts & Culture (also known as ArtsArlington) is an umbrella organization within the Town of Arlington, MA that promotes and develops arts and culture programs, events, and resources to create a sustainable and vibrant arts scene that engages and attracts artists, residents, businesses and visitors.
The Commission is currently seeking a volunteer Treasurer.
Responsibilities
As part of the Core Commission, the Treasurer will track funds associated with specific programs, including donations, grants, and expenses, in coordination with Town of Arlington staff, including the Department of Planning and Community Development.
You should expect to spend 3-4 hours a month attending meetings, including the monthly Committee meeting and periodic subgroup meetings, a few hours a month on activities specific to financial management, and occasional participation at an event such as Town Day, a Live Arts event, or other ArtsArlington program.
