Administrative Volunteer Needed in Morris Heights!

Macombs is a supportive housing apartment program that opened in 2009 and currently serves 55 people. As such, it has plenty of paperwork and systems to sort and organize. A volunteer would help Macombs run efficiently through administrative work.

Responsibilities

• Create excel sheets to keep track of systems and record pertinent information.
• Set up appointments
• Filing paperwork
• Writing memos
• Concierge-such as making coffee for tenants and visitors
• Shopping and preparing for events and meetings

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of confidentiality

Because volunteers will be working with confidential information, they are required to undergo background checks and fingerprinting. They will be invited to complete a volunteer application and interview before being on boarded.
