The time commitment is flexible. Our Repair Days are usually scheduled from 10 am to 4 pm. Join us for just an hour or two or stay all day! We are happy to have volunteers come for whatever works with their schedule.

Descripción
The Furniture Repair Bank rescues worn, torn, and broken furniture that was headed to the landfill, restores its value and beauty, and provides it to people in need. Join our community of empathetic, creative, and handy individuals!
- No previous experience or special skills are required!
- We provide PPE such as masks, gloves, and goggles
- Work may involve painting, staining, and sanding, so please dress accordingly
- Closed-toed/closed-heel shoes are required
- We work in a warehouse environment and sometimes outside in covered areas, so please dress for the weather
- We have light snacks and refreshments available for volunteers, and also have a water cooler if you would like to bring a refillable bottle

There is limited street parking in front of our unit, but additional parking is available behind our unit near the back entrance. This area is accessible through the alley by the railroad tracks off S Holgate Ave.
