Descripción
Silverado Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals to join our volunteer team. Our patients are terminally ill and in the final stages of life, and your time could make a meaningful difference during this sacred part of their journey.
As a Hospice Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to visit patients in their homes or in nursing facilities. Volunteers are needed to:
- Read aloud from books or newspapers
- Share hobbies or interests
- Play or listen to soothing music together
- Engage in meaningful conversation
- Bring flowers from a garden
- Share personal photos
- Or simply sit quietly and offer the gift of presence
