Event Day Volunteer - Komen Columbus Race for the Cure

This May, community members from around the greater Columbus area will gather together to celebrate the strength and resilience of all people affected by breast cancer while also raising vital funds to help Susan G. Komen invest more in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer, eliminate inequitable barriers to high-quality care, and provide patients’ direct support in their treatment journey.

Volunteers play a critical role in helping us to create a remarkable Race for the Cure.

There are plenty of ways individuals and groups to get involved!

3 shifts available:

• Volunteers will assist with staging and/or placing event barricades, setting up tables, setting up water stations and placing signage and banners.: Friday May 15, 2026 - 10:00 to 14:00 CST
• We have many different volunteer opportunities for event day: Start Line, Course Monitors, and more!: Saturday May 16, 2026 - 07:00 to 11:00 CST
• Tear down race course and expo area. May include: taking down signs, moving stalls, cleaning trash, etc. Volunteers must be able to lift heavy boxes.: Saturday May 16, 2026 - 11:00 to 14:00 CST.
