Club Journey Hospitality Host

Alzheimers Coachella Valley is excited to announce that we are expanding our popular Club Journey program from two to three days per week in 2026! This is our largest social program. We welcome up to 32 couples each day for coffee, pastry, conversation, games, music, and lunch together; all at no cost to our members. Each couple consists of a person with cognitive impairment accompanied by their caregiver. This is usually a spouse, and believe me when I say, they often get more out of this program than their loved one does. It is support from friends and community. We are looking for volunteers to start helping us with Club Journey on Wednesdays in January! This would be a three-hour commitment each Wednesday. Our volunteers help set tables, welcome members and offer beverages, socialize and play games, serve lunch (individually packaged) and clean up. It is truly a fun and rewarding experience.
