Host Sun Woo (Claire) from Korea (Future TV Producer)

Sun Woo (who goes by Claire) is a gentle and thoughtful 16-year-old from South Korea entering the 10th grade. She is a talented musician who plays the bass guitar in an indie rock band and an avid golfer who has been playing since she was eight! Claire loves romantic comedies, reading, and exploring fashion. While she can be a bit shy at first, she has a heart for helping others and is excited to build meaningful relationships and make lasting memories with an American host family.

We are looking for a host family to welcome Sun Woo into their home as a member of the family. Whether you have kids, are empty nesters, or are a single-parent household, what matters most is your heart for cultural exchange.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming home environment.
• Provide three meals a day (student has their own spending money for eating out).
• Treat the student as a member of the family, not a guest.
• Help the student integrate into the local community and high school.
• Volunteer opportunity (no stipend is provided)

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Have a spare bedroom (students can share a room with a host sibling of the same gender and similar age).
• A heart for cultural exchange and supporting a young person's dreams!
