Volunteers will gather at Leslie Park to weed thistle and other unwanted plants from around the playground area. This effort will make the space safer for children and families while keeping the park looking its best. Register here.

Cómo aplicar
What to wear and bring:
- Long pants, tall socks, and closed-toe shoes
- Clothes that can get dirty (you’ll be weeding around mulch and sand)
- A reusable water bottle
- Dress for the weather—layers and sun protection recommended
- We’ll provide gloves and tools
Please note:
- Volunteers may be kneeling or bending for long periods
- Surfaces may be uneven or sandy
- There may be some thorny plants like thistle
- All minors should be accompanied by a guardian
