The SHLB Coalition (Schools Health & Libraries Broadband Coalition) is looking for 4 student volunteers to help out with its annual AnchorNets Conference at the Crystal City Marriott on October 29th–31st. They are specifically looking for volunteers to monitor the registration desk each day from 7am to noon; assist our staff with room counts during the conference; and help set up before the conference on October 28th. Volunteers are welcome (and encouraged!) to attend the remainder of the conference, including lunch on Wed/Thurs/Friday, coffee/snacks, and receptions on Wed/Thurs. Volunteers will work closely with the Membership Coordinator and Operations Coordinator.
AnchorNets is the SHLB Coalition’s annual conference, bringing together broadband leaders from across the country—including policymakers, industry experts, and representatives from schools, libraries, health centers, and other anchor institutions. The event features dynamic keynotes, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities focused on expanding affordable, high-quality broadband for community anchors and the people they serve. You can learn more about AnchorNets and the SHLB Coalition here.
