Descripción
Neighborhood Youth Association is a nonprofit organization that provides academic tutoring, leadership development and life skills to low-income and at-risk youth. We are based in Mar Vista, with 2 other sites in Inglewood and Leimert Park/Crenshaw District.
As part of our program, students are paired with volunteer tutors to help them in subjects they are struggling in. We have an immediate need for high school math tutors right now to work with our students once a week.
We are looking for volunteers with skills specifically in Geometry, Algebra 2 and AP Calculus.
