Finding Female Friends past 50 is a community, both online and in-person, where older women connect and collaborate to create purpose and fulfillment in their second act.
Because our members and team are located in cities across the USA, and support needs to be offered in real time, we prefer applicants who are within USA time zones.
We are seeking a dedicated Volunteer IT Support Specialist to assist our organization’s members and staff with technology-related needs. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for helping others and a solid understanding of common digital tools and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to members, answering questions and resolving issues related to our online platform.
- Assist staff with Google Workspace products, including Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs.
- Assist with basic spreadsheet functions.
- Support integration and syncing of platforms such as calendars, booking apps, and Zoom.
- Help set up and maintain connections between various productivity tools.
- Document common issues and solutions to build a knowledge base for the organization.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
- Basic knowledge of spreadsheet functions and formulas.
- Experience with calendar/booking apps and Zoom is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot common IT issues and explain solutions clearly to non-technical users.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a willingness to learn new tools as needed.

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional coursework or certifications in information technology, computer science, or related fields are a plus but not required.
- Relevant experience and demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace and basic IT troubleshooting may substitute for formal education.
