Advisory board member

Advisory Board Members serve as strategic partners to the leadership of Seniors in Distress. They do not handle day-to-day operations but provide insight, expertise, and connections that strengthen the mission and long-term sustainability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend monthly virtual advisory meetings
• Offer strategic input on programs, outreach, partnerships, and growth
• Advise leadership on challenges and opportunities in your area of expertise
• Act as an ambassador by building awareness and opening doors to networks, funders, or collaborators
• Provide high-level feedback on initiatives, campaigns, or organizational needs
• Support fundraising or advocacy efforts through guidance, connections, or influence (where applicable)
• Advise on governance, policy, innovation, or sector trends affecting seniors
