Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference this summer? Become a Companionship Volunteer with Elara Caring Hospice, where we provide intensely individualized care to patients wherever they call home.

As a volunteer, you’ll become a built-in best friend to a patient in need, offering social and emotional support through one-on-one visits. Whether you're brightening someone's day with conversation, giving a caregiver a much-needed break, or lending a helping hand with small tasks like walking the family dog or picking up groceries, your time can improve the well-being of a terminally ill patient in a truly profound way.

Becoming a hospice volunteer is simple-all you need is:

✔ Be 18 years of age or older

✔ Reliable transportation

✔ A valid Texas driver’s license or ID

✔ An open heart and mind
