Denver Court Appointed Special Advocates - or Denver CASA - provides support and advocacy for children with an open case in family court. CASA Volunteers are dedicated community volunteers who are highly trained and supervised by professional staff, and appointed by family court judges to advocate for kids who find themselves navigating a complicated system at a tender age.
We are actively seeking male identifying volunteers to help support the boys and young men in our program who would prefer to work with a male CASA Volunteer. It is our mission to make sure that every youth we serve feels empowered by their volunteer, and seeing themselves represented is an important piece of that pie.
You do not need to have any special professional background to do this role- we provide all of the training and support that you will need. Our belief is that every child deserves to have a caring and consistent adult in their life- especially a child who has experienced abuse or neglect- and if you can be that person, this is the right role for you!
