Celebrate Life by Capturing Meaningful Memories

VITAS Healthcare is looking to match talented volunteers with elders near the end of life, who have a tale to tell. Life Story volunteers capture a patient's meaningful moments and develop a digital or web-based biography as told by the patient recalling his or her life stories.

VITAS Volunteer orientation is provided free of charge to help you learn the skills required to be an outstanding life story volunteer. Volunteers will also receive training in life story/review interview techniques and ways to improve their technical and creative skills. Time and dates of orientation are ongoing and flexible.
