We are seeking an Integration & Automation Engineer to connect systems, automate workflows, and eliminate inefficiencies across the organization.

The Role

This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations and automation across systems and platforms.

You will connect tools, streamline processes, and reduce manual work across departments.

You are not just writing scripts.

You are building a connected, automated ecosystem.

This role operates at the intersection of engineering, operations, and systems design, ensuring data flows seamlessly and processes scale efficiently.

What You’ll Own

System Integration & Connectivity

• • Design and implement integrations between:
  • Internal systems
  • SaaS platforms
  • Collaboration tools
  • Ensure seamless data flow across systems
  • Maintain and improve existing integrations

Workflow Automation

• • Identify manual processes and inefficiencies
  • Build automation to:
  • Reduce repetitive work
  • Improve accuracy
  • Increase speed and scalability
  • Implement end-to-end automated workflows

API Development & Management

• • Develop and manage API integrations
  • Work with RESTful APIs and webhooks
  • Ensure secure and reliable data exchange

Process Optimization

• • Analyze workflows across teams
  • Recommend improvements to increase efficiency
  • Standardize processes where possible

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• • Work with:
  • HR
  • IT
  • Product/Applications teams
  • Understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions

Data Flow & System Reliability

• • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across systems
  • Monitor integrations for performance and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues

Automation Tools & Technology

• • Implement and manage tools for automation and integration
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve workflows

Security & Compliance Support

• • Ensure integrations follow security best practices
  • Protect data integrity and access controls
  • Partner with security teams when needed

Documentation & Maintainability

• • Document integrations, workflows, and automation processes
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable

Continuous Improvement

• • Identify new opportunities for automation
  • Improve efficiency across the organization
  • Stay current on automation and integration trends

Qualifications

Required

• • 2–4 years of experience in software engineering, automation, or integrations
  • Experience with:
  • APIs (REST, webhooks)
  • Automation tools or scripting
  • Strong problem-solving and system-thinking skills

Preferred

• • Experience with integration platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud-based systems or SaaS environments
  • Familiarity with databases and data structures
  • Experience working in remote teams

Commitment

• • 8–12 hours per week
  • Flexible schedule (with responsiveness to system needs)
  • Fully remote
