The Corporate Sponsorship Outreach Lead plays a key role in driving our mission forward by securing strategic sponsorships from corporate partners. This role blends business development, relationship management, and storytelling to create win-win partnerships that support our programs and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying Ideal Sponsors: You will research and identify corporations whose values align with our organization's mission and whose interests align with our specific events or programs.
 - Developing Outreach Strategies: You will create and implement plans to effectively engage potential sponsors, including crafting compelling proposals and presentations.
 - Building and Maintaining Relationships: You will initiate and manage communication with prospective sponsors through various channels, nurturing these relationships and ensuring sponsors feel valued.
 - Securing Sponsorships: You will present sponsorship opportunities, negotiate agreements, and finalize sponsorship contracts.
 - Ensuring Sponsor Satisfaction: You will manage sponsor benefits, provide regular updates, and ensure sponsors receive the recognition and value they expect.
 - Tracking and Reporting: You will maintain accurate records of all sponsorship activities, including contact information, progress, and financial details.
 - Collaborating with Internal Teams: You will work closely with marketing, event planning, and other teams to create attractive sponsorship packages and promotional materials.
 
Skills and Competences:
- Sales and Business Development: Proven experience in sales, business development, or nonprofit fundraising and you have crucial experience in sales, business development, or fundraising for identifying, cultivating, and securing sponsorships.
 - Communication and Presentation Skills: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for engaging with potential sponsors and presenting compelling proposals.
 - Relationship Building: You have the vital ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with sponsors for long-term partnerships.
 - Project Management: You demonstrate exceptional project management skills, needed to manage sponsorship outreach activities, track progress, and ensure deliverables are met.
 - Negotiation Skills: You have the ability to negotiate sponsorship agreements and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
 - Analytical Skills: You can analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective outreach strategies.
 - Organizational Skills: You possess excellent organizational skills, necessary to manage a database of sponsors, track progress, and manage budgets.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
 - 3–5 years of proven experience in sponsorship sales, corporate partnerships, or nonprofit fundraising.
 - Strong network of corporate contacts and decision-makers across industries.
 - Experience developing sponsorship packages for events, programs, or community initiatives.
 - Familiarity with CRM systems, fundraising software, and data analytics tools.
 
Time Commitment:
- Full-time position with flexibility around major sponsorship campaigns and events.
 - Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to attend sponsor-related events or meetings.
 
Remote/In-Person Status:
- Primarily remote with structured virtual meetings and regular progress reporting.
 - Occasional in-person engagements for sponsor meetings, events, or key organizational activities.
