Community Garden Coordinator

Times Up! Environmental Organization has a long history of planning events and volunteer green-ups in New York City's community gardens. This year, we are focusing on supporting free local community gardens in the East Village of Manhattan. All of these workdays and events happen on the weekends, mostly Saturdays. Must have some organizing skills and be willing to promote the events as well. on volunteer days, you will be responsible to show up half an hour early, communicate with project managers about the projects of the day, and set people up with tools and equipments to complete their projects. You don't need that much garden experience, and you will be trained on how each community garden functions.
